Northern Lights was a response to a student call for submissions to present work for Newcastle Gateshead Initiative Enchanted Parks. A Winter festival hosted in Saltwell Park.
The animations of the Northern Lights were back projected onto bespoke screens fitted into an already existing structure. The images were stock images animated to change the hues over a period of time. Along with the animations a soundtrack was produced using popular festive music expanded beyond its original time code becoming unrecognisable. A ghostly sound presented the viewer with an eerie and ethereal combinations of audio and visuals.
